Some questions about a pet’s decline need more than a quick check-in to really talk through. This call is built for exactly those questions.
Our consultations establish a Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) as required by Florida law, enabling us to provide meaningful and fully compliant guidance.
This call is for families whose pet is aging, living with a chronic condition, or facing a new diagnosis. Your primary veterinarian stays your partner for routine and urgent care. For an emergency, call an emergency clinic.

These consultations are not designed for emergency situations. If your pet is in distress, please contact your primary veterinarian or an emergency clinic immediately.

Our telehealth service is currently available to families living within Loved's Florida service areas.
Establishing a VCPR
Our consultations establish a Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship through a live video visit, as Florida law allows (Florida Statutes, section 474.2021). Audio only, text messages, and questionnaires do not qualify. The video lets your veterinarian see your pet. If your pet needs hands-on care after the session, we'll guide you toward an in-home visit or the right specialist referral.
Questions families ask about telehealth
Families whose pet is showing early signs of decline, living with a chronic condition such as kidney disease, arthritis or cognitive changes, or facing a new diagnosis. It also fits families who want to talk through the question of timing.
A session lasts up to 45 minutes and costs $110, paid upfront.
A telehealth visit is a virtual visit only. You use live video so your veterinarian can see your pet. If your pet needs hands-on care, we guide you toward an in-home visit or the right specialist referral.
Insurance may not always cover these visits, since many plans use their own virtual vet companies. Check with your plan before you book.
You need a device that supports video, such as a phone, tablet or computer. Calls run on Zoho Meeting.
Before the visit, we call your primary veterinarian and retrieve the medical records. Families are also welcome to send photos or videos if that helps.
Reach out to our care team the same way you would for any in-person appointment. There is no separate telehealth booking button.
