- Our Approach
Unhurried, in-home, and honest with you at every step.
This is how we work, across every visit: quality of life assessments, comfort care, euthanasia, telehealth, and everything in between.
What guides us
A few things that don’t change from visit to visit
We come to you
Every visit happens in your home, in the space your pet already knows and trusts. No waiting rooms, no car rides, no unfamiliar smells.
You set the pace
We’re never rushing to the next appointment. Every visit takes the time it needs, and no question is too small to ask first.
Clarity, not certainty
We can’t promise an answer to everything. What we can promise is honesty, and as much clarity as we can give you at every step.
An extension of your vet’s care
We work alongside your primary veterinarian, not around them. When we step in, it’s a continuation of the care your pet already receives.
How it works, in detail
Our process
We walk alongside the entirety of the family at every stage, from the first uncertain call through the days after your appointment and beyond.
Reach out to our team
Call us or schedule a care call online. Our team is available to answer questions and explain your options, with no pressure and no rush.
Care team consultation
A care coordinator will take time to understand your pet's condition, your family's needs, and gently help you decide if an in-home visit is the right next step.
Schedule your appointment
When you feel ready, we'll book a home visit at a time that works for your family, often within 24 to 48 hours.
Confirm aftercare preferences
Before the appointment, we'll walk through your aftercare options: private cremation, communal cremation, or home burial, so everything is arranged with care.
Prepare your space
Choose a quiet, comfortable spot where your pet feels safe and at home. We'll guide you on what to expect so you can feel calm and fully present.
Your in-home visit
Your veterinarian arrives with everything needed. You'll have all the time you need to hold your pet, share your love, and say goodbye peacefully, in your own home, on your own terms.
Aftercare & ongoing support
Our support doesn't end when the veterinarian leaves your home. Complimentary virtual grief support sessions with a licensed veterinary social worker are always available to you.
