Dr. Carrie Schultz grew up in Victoria, TX and earned degrees from both Texas A&M University and Louisiana State University, where she became a veterinarian. She began a house-call practice in south Louisiana in 2009, where she discovered a passion for improving the quality of life for aging pets and guiding families through end-of-life decisions. She was among the first to complete the Animal Hospice and Palliative Care certification program, earning her CHPV credential in 2018, and is also a Certified Peaceful Euthanasia Veterinarian. After returning to Texas in 2017, Dr. Carrie worked with various small animal practices, including mobile and end-of-life providers. While she values long-term client relationships, she finds deep meaning in helping families navigate goodbyes with peace and dignity. Dr. Schultz lives in Houston with her Old English Sheepdog, Alvie, and two cats, Pitta and Elmo. She enjoys creative hobbies, community events, and anything by Jim Henson.
