What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is a video-based consultation where you can connect directly with Dr. Stephanie Bowes, a licensed veterinarian practicing in Florida. While these sessions do not replace a hands-on examination, they are an invaluable tool for providing expert advice, answering questions, and offering recommendations for your pet’s care.
Our Telehealth consultations are
designed for families who:
- Need help assessing their pet’s declining quality of life.
- Have questions about managing chronic conditions like kidney disease, arthritis, or cognitive dysfunction.
- Are navigating a new diagnosis and need clarity about treatment options and next steps.
- Live within the state of Florida, particularly in Loved’s service area.
What to Expect
Simple, effective, and compassionate care—virtually.
- Format: Conducted via video call for face-to-face discussions.
- Duration: Up to 45 minutes.
- Content: Discuss your pet’s condition, receive tailored recommendations, and explore next steps, including in-home care or further treatments as needed.

- These consultations are not suitable for emergencies. If your pet is in distress, please contact your primary veterinarian or an emergency clinic immediately.
- Our Telehealth consultations establish a Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR), as required by Florida law, enabling us to provide meaningful and compliant care.
- If your pet requires additional hands-on care, we’ll guide you toward an in-home visit or a referral to your veterinarian.
